Join the Workamping team at Wading Pines Camping Resort!Description of Park:Located in the heart of the Pine Barrens in Chatsworth, NJ, Wading Pines is situated on 55 acres of lush pine forest bordering the Wading River. A seasonal park that hosts over 100 Seasonal sites and 200 weekend sites. Activities include Canoe and Kayak rentals, Tubing, Horseshoe Tournaments, Shuffleboard Tournaments, Fishing Contest in our stocked pond, Live Entertainment from bands to DJ’s on Saturday nights between Memorial and Labor Day Weekends. We feature a train ride on our very own Pine Barren Express a three car train. Cool off in our 80,000 gallon Salt Water Pool. Join in on one of our many park holidays. We host a variety of Theme weekends, poker-run, kids carnival, cranberry festival--the third largest festival in the nation, Christmas in July, bingo, movie night, breakfast at the hall, and so much more. Jobs Available:⚬ Maintenance Crew MemberDuties include repairs to park property such as cabins, store, rec hall, electrical pedestals, road grading, pump-outs, propane sales, trash pick-up, site cleaning, pool cleaning and water testing daily. Duties include mowing, trimming weeds, planting flowers, maintaining flower baskets, and beautification of park. Duties include driving a passenger van to local canoe drop-offs and must be able to lift a canoe or kayak overhead. Clean vehicles and canoe/kayaks weekly. Driver license is required. Be prepared for a variety of weather conditions. Be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests. Not inclusive of all duties. ⚬ Office AgentDuties include reservations, stocking, inventory control, and must have a pleasant outgoing personality to be considered for this position. Be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests. Multi-line phone answering system and email. ⚬ Housekeeping Crew MemberDuties include cleaning of camping cabins, 3 bathhouses, rec hall, adult lounge, guest laundry, store and game room. Be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests. Be prepared for a variety of weather conditions. ⚬ SnackbarCook and Cashier positions available in our snackbar and game room. Workamper Compensation:Prevailing wage per hour and site included with electric. End of season bonus $400 per site upon completion of season. Be prepared to work an 8 hour workday 4 to 5 days a week. Weekends and holidays required. We ask that our workampers follow hygiene and dress norms.
