Ranger Heath hires about 60 Workampers every year to staff campgrounds, day-use areas or the visitor’s center from mid-April through October. Jobs are scattered throughout the project, but center around five developed campgrounds. Most Workampers typically live in the campground they are assigned or near the recreation areas they oversee.
