How do I view the Hotline Jobs on the website?

All current Hotline ads can be viewed on the Hotline Jobs website page if you are a Workamper Diamond or Platinum member, or Employer Intro or Gold member.

Log in to Workamper.com  On your Dashboard, click on the Hotline Jobs button.   On the Hotline Jobs page, the newest ads will appear at the top.  You also have sorting and search options to help you narrow down the listings to match your preferences.

Hotline ads are only posted for 14 days unless the Employer renews their ad for additional weeks.  New Hotline ads are posted each weekday, Monday - Friday.

How do I turn off the daily Hotline email?

If you no longer wish to receive the daily Hotline email, you can turn it off by going to your MANAGE ACCOUNT page from your Dashboard.  Click on one of the [edit] links and scroll to the Communication section. Uncheck the Daily Hotline email box. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

But before you turn that email off -- consider that you'll be missing out on the listings posted during the time you have your Hotline email turned off.  We do not have an archive of Hotline job postings available, but you can make your own.

Within most email programs/websites, you can setup what's usually called a "rule" or a "filter".  You can create the filter so that anytime an email comes to your inbox from "[email protected]" that email is put into a specific folder.  You can create a folder within your email to house all of the Hotline emails. This way they are not crowding up your main inbox, and you still have access to those job listings.  And when you're ready to search for your next Workamping opportunity you can do keyword searches in that Hotline Jobs folder within your email program.

For help on setting up a filter, do a Google search for "setting up a filter in _______ mail" (enter in Gmail or Hotmail or Yahoo - whatever your service is).  You can usually find step-by-step articles or videos to show you how.  Doing this also helps insure the deliverability of the Hotline email to you.

Why am I not receiving the daily Hotline email?

There are many possibilities here.

1. Have you joined with a membership using the email address you want your Hotline to go to? Gold, Platinum and Diamond members can receive the Hotline Jobs email. You can go to the MANAGE ACCOUNT page from your Dashboard to change the email address on your membership account.  Or, if you do not yet have a membership, please click on the Join link to create your account.

2. Is the correct email address on your membership file?  Please go to the MANAGE ACCOUNT page from your Dashboard.  Verify the email address shown there is correct.  Click the [edit] link to change your email address.  Whatever email address is on your membership file is where the daily Hotline email will be sent.

3. Your email provider may be blocking the email or it is being put in spam/junk.  Email providers are constantly doing updates and changes to their security. Because we send out the Hotline email to thousands of people each day, we can look like a spammer to the email providers.  Even if you have been receiving the Hotline email for years, that doesn't mean it won't be put in your spam folder tomorrow.

There are some things you can do to help prevent the Hotline email from being blocked:

  • Do not mark emails sent to you from @workamper.com as spam. Please use the unsubscribe/opt out link included at the bottom of each email, or update your Communication Preferences on the Manage Account page.
  • Please add [email protected] to your address book/contact list in your email program.
  • Setup what's usually called a "rule" or a "filter".  You can create the filter so that anytime an email comes to your inbox from "[email protected]" that email is put into a specific folder.
  • Go to www.workamper.com/whitelist for info on how to help insure you receive our emails.

If you are using Gmail - please check the Promotions tab in your Gmail inbox; the Hotline email is likely there. You can click to move it to your main inbox.

4. Contact our office at [email protected] or 800-446-5627. We can look up your information in our email program to see if you have marked one of our emails as spam in the past. If you have marked one of our emails as spam, our system is not allowed to send you further emails. You can reset that spam complaint using a link we can send you.

Hotline emails are sent each weekday that there are new ads posted.  Hotline emails are not sent on weekends or on major holidays.

What is a Hotline Job Alert email?

Tired of waiting all day for the Hotline email to arrive? Want to receive a Workamping opportunity as soon as it's posted?

You got it -- turn on Job Alerts!

If you are in “job search” mode, the Job Alert Emails may be something you want to turn on. Be one of the first to know about the new, available positions!  As soon as we schedule a new Hotline ad (anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT), you can receive an email containing that new ad.

This means you will receive 1-25+ emails that day, depending upon how many new ads there are. You will also still receive the main Hotline email in the early evening containing all of that day’s Hotline ads.

We do not automatically turn on this feature for you when you join/renew. To turn this feature on/off, please login to www.workamper.com and click on the Manage Account button on the upper right of the Dashboard. Click any of the [edit] links. Scroll down to the Communication Preference section and check the box for "Individual Hotline Job Alert emails" then click the Save button.

Select to receive Job Alert emails for only specific states of your choice! Once you have the Job Alert feature turned on, you can select to only get emailed ads for selected states. On the Manage Account page, you will now see a link next to the Individual Hotline Job Alert emails option, labeled "(Click here to select states for Job Alert emails)".  Click to open a page where you can select the states you are interested in working in and click to save.  Be sure to select "Multiple Locations" - as those are opportunities offered in multiple states by the same employer.

How do I turn off Hotline Job Alert emails?
